Connect once, and DiveOps can look up your divers' SSI records, create SSI profiles, enrol courses and keep your team's SSI pro levels up to date. You approve the connection yourself in MySSI.
When you'd use this
- You're an SSI centre and want to check divers' certifications without leaving DiveOps.
- You want to create SSI profiles or enrol courses from a booking.
- The SSI page says Not connected or Needs reconnecting.
Before you start
- You need your SSI Centre ID: the number SSI uses for your centre, shown on your MySSI dashboard.
- You need to be able to log in to MySSI (my.divessi.com) as your centre.
- In DiveOps you need permission to change settings.
How to connect
- Go to Settings · Integrations · SSI and press Connect to SSI.
- Type your SSI Centre ID and press Connect. DiveOps sends SSI an access request for your centre.
- Log in to MySSI and open API applications (my.divessi.com/myapiapplications). Approve the DiveOps.ai request. SSI may also email you about it, but not always, so don't wait for an email.
- Come back to the SSI page in DiveOps. It connects on its own a few seconds after you approve, and shows Connected to SSI.
The steps also appear on the SSI page itself, with the one you're on highlighted.
If it doesn't connect
- Still pending after a few minutes: check you approved the request in MySSI, API applications. If you did, copy your key from that page, press Paste key manually in DiveOps, paste it and press Save.
- "SSI didn't accept the request, so no email was sent": check the Centre ID is right, wait a few minutes and try again. If it keeps failing, contact SSI support.
- "SSI approved the request but didn't accept the key it gave us": copy your key from MySSI, API applications, and paste it into the box shown.
- "SSI didn't accept that key": the key you pasted was incomplete or out of date. Copy the whole key again and paste it.
If SSI stops accepting your connection
If SSI stops accepting your centre's key (for example after a key is replaced in MySSI), DiveOps marks SSI as Not connected and shows SSI: Needs reconnecting at the top of your dashboard. SSI buttons around DiveOps then say "SSI no longer accepts your connection". Go to Settings · Integrations · SSI and connect again.
DiveOps checks once a day that SSI still accepts your connection, so you'll usually see this before a member of staff runs into it.
Disconnecting
Press Disconnect on the SSI page. DiveOps forgets the stored access. Your SSI account is not affected, and you can connect again at any time.
