Dive centre finance software, wired to the whole operation

DiveOps is finance software for dive centres: profit and loss, invoicing, expenses and payroll built into the same system that takes the bookings and rings up the till, then synced to your accounting software. The centre's money lives in one place, so the books keep themselves as the day runs rather than being rebuilt from a spreadsheet, a card machine and a shoebox of receipts.

The short answer

Dive centre finance software puts profit and loss, invoicing, expenses and payroll in the same login that takes the bookings and rings up the till, then syncs to your accounts. DiveOps works out instructor commission from the trip sheet, and card fees can be up to 20% lower than typical terminal rates.

The centre's money in one place

In most dive centres the numbers are scattered: a booking tool that does not talk to the till, card takings in one app, cash in a tin, expenses on paper, and payroll worked out by hand at the end of the month. DiveOps puts all of it in one login. Every booking payment, shop sale, rental and course fee lands in the same set of books as it happens, so the owner can see profit and loss, money in and money out, and what each part of the centre is actually earning, without re-typing a thing.

It fits a small centre and a high-volume operation alike, and the finance side sits right next to the bookings, boats and gear it draws its numbers from.

  • Profit and loss, invoicing and expenses built in, not bolted on
  • Every booking payment and shop sale flows straight into the books
  • One view of money in and money out across the whole centre
  • No re-keying between a booking tool, a till and a spreadsheet

Books that keep themselves

DiveOps syncs to your accounting software, so sales, refunds, expenses and payroll flow across automatically and month-end stops being a scramble. The figures are captured cleanly as the centre trades, tax handled correctly, so the accountant gets numbers that reconcile rather than a pile of exports to untangle.

This is the part a spreadsheet cannot do: a live, self-maintaining picture of the centre's finances that is always current, because it is built from the same bookings and sales the rest of DiveOps already runs.

  • Automatic sync of sales, refunds, expenses and payroll to your accounts
  • Tax handled correctly, so figures reconcile at month-end
  • Clean numbers handed to your accountant instead of raw exports
  • Always current, because it is built from the day's real bookings and sales

Payroll built for a dive centre, not a generic office

Dive centre pay is not a flat salary run. Instructors and guides earn commission on the courses and trips they actually run, con-ed adds up across the month, and who gets paid for a dive depends on who was on the boat. DiveOps works this out from the trip sheet itself: the commission split follows the people who did the work, so payroll comes out of what genuinely happened rather than being reconstructed by hand.

Because it is the same system that planned the day, the wage a guide is owed and the trip they ran are never two different records that have to be matched up later.

  • Instructor and guide commission split straight from the trip sheet
  • Con-ed and bonuses carried through to the payslip
  • Pay follows who actually guided or taught, not a manual estimate
  • Payroll and the schedule are one system, not two to reconcile

A till that reconciles, and lower card fees

DiveOps has a proper point-of-sale till for retail gear, rentals, servicing, courses and add-ons. It takes card and cash and reconciles the drawer at the end of the day, so takings and bookings sit in the same books instead of a separate terminal and a cash tin.

Because payments run through the centre's own account rather than a reseller, card fees can be up to 20% lower than the terminal rates many centres pay. That is never guaranteed and depends on your current processor, but for a centre taking a lot of card payments it is real money back.

  • One till for retail, rentals, servicing, courses and add-ons
  • End-of-day cash-drawer reconciliation, card and cash in one place
  • Card fees up to 20% lower than typical terminal rates (never guaranteed)
  • Every sale flows into the same finance and reporting

One login, built by someone who has run the numbers

The finance side is not a separate product. It sits in the same login as the 24/7 WhatsApp AI front desk, bookings, boats, gear, courses and payroll, so the money side of the centre is never disconnected from the operation that earns it. Whichever agency your instructors teach under, SSI, PADI or another, DiveOps runs the finances around your workflow rather than replacing it.

DiveOps was built by a former Koh Tao dive professional who went on to become Global Head of Technology and Cybersecurity Oversight at Revolut, one of Europe's largest fintechs. The concept was validated with 20 Koh Tao dive centres before launch, and it already runs the daily operations, including the books, of one of the world's largest SSI dive centres. Questions, answered.

Does DiveOps sync with my accounting software?

Yes. Sales, refunds, expenses and payroll flow across to your accounting software automatically, with tax handled correctly, so your figures reconcile and your accountant gets clean numbers rather than a pile of exports.

Does it handle payroll, including instructor commission?

Yes. DiveOps works payroll out from the trip sheet, so the commission split follows the instructors and guides who actually ran the courses and trips, with con-ed and bonuses carried through to the payslip. The schedule and the payroll are one system, not two to match up.

Can it really lower our card processing fees?

Payments run through the centre's own account rather than a reseller, so card fees can be up to 20% lower than the terminal rates many centres pay. It is never guaranteed and depends on your current processor, but for a centre taking a lot of card it is real money back.

Do I still need an accountant?

Yes. DiveOps keeps the books and hands over clean, reconciled numbers, which makes an accountant's job quicker and cheaper. It is not a replacement for professional accounting or tax advice.

Which certification agencies does it work with?

All of them. DiveOps runs the finances and the operation regardless of agency, so your SSI, PADI or other certification workflow continues exactly as it does today, alongside DiveOps.
