Trip Sheet settings

Customise the printable boatmaster trip sheet for your centre — which sections appear, the checklist items, your emergency numbers, and the section names. Find it at Settings → Operations → Trip Sheet.

When you'd use this

  • Before you first print a sheet, to set it up the way your boat runs.
  • Whenever your checklists, emergency numbers, or layout change.

What you can change

  • Sections to print — tick the sections you want on the sheet: roll-call, oxygen check, first aid, compressor check, boat preparation and consumables, equipment and tank counts, spare equipment, the free-text boxes (additional items to load, restock for next trip, notes and issues), day notes, and emergency contacts. Anything unticked is left off. (The header block — boat, slot, departure, dive sites, boatmaster, and divers/persons on board — always prints, so it has no toggle.)
  • Counts — how many compressor units and how many dives to show roll-call rows for.
  • Boat sheet (print) — turn the diver roster page (the back page listing everyone by instructor) on or off, and set the minimum blank walk-up rows. The diver page fills automatically so the sheet always has room for the whole boat (up to about 50 people). The sheet prints one page per boat — the boatmaster's checklists on the front, the divers on the back; print double-sided for a single sheet.
  • Document title and footer — rename the sheet (default "Boat Trip Sheet") and add a footer line (for example "EMS / Coastguard VHF Ch.16").
  • Boat Preparation & Consumables / Equipment & Tank Counts / Spare Equipment — edit each checklist: add a row, reorder with the up/down arrows, or delete a row. These print as blank tick or count cells for the crew to fill in by hand.
  • Emergency Contacts — the labelled phone numbers that print along the footer (Shop, a 24-hour diving emergency line, coastguard, nearest chamber, nearest hospital). Edit the labels and numbers, add or remove rows.
  • Section names — rename any section heading if your centre uses different wording. Leave a box blank to keep the default.
  • Live preview — a quick mock updates as you change settings, so you can see roughly what will print. The exact result is the printed PDF (the Print trip sheet button on a published sheet).

How it's set up

  • The first time you open this page, your centre is pre-filled with a sensible starter sheet (the standard dive-centre checklists). Edit it to match your operation.
  • The divers list, grouped by instructor with their bag numbers, prints on the back page — it comes from the day's trip sheet, not from here.
  • Press Save changes when you're done. Discard changes undoes anything since your last save.

Coming later

  • Uploading a picture of your boat's layout, and a build-your-own boat layout where you place divers on specific bag positions, are planned for a later release. For now the diver page is the layout — a numbered list by instructor with a Bag No column and blank rows for up to about 50 people.
