Choose what customers fill in on your forms

Last updated 2026-09-23

Decide which details your customers are asked for on your booking page, your customer sign-up page (QR code) and the details link you send from a booking. One setting controls all three.

When you'd use this

  • You don't need passport numbers, so you don't want customers typing them in.
  • You want certification numbers or a photo of each diver's card.
  • You want fewer questions on your booking page.

How to change what's asked

  1. Go to Settings → Booking Page and open the Customer details tab.
  2. Always asked lists the details every customer gives: first name, last name, email, date of birth, phone and nationality. These can't be switched off.
  3. Under You choose, switch each detail on or off. It saves straight away.
  4. Details indented underneath another one (for example Certification number under Certification) only work while the one above is on.

What each switch does

  • Passport number · on by default. Customers must fill it in while it's on.
  • Emergency contact · on by default: name, relationship and phone.
  • Emergency contact email · optional for the customer.
  • Certification · on by default. Customers pick their level; if they're certified they must also give their certifying agency and last dive date.
  • Certification number, Number of logged dives, Photo of certification card · off by default. Shown once a diver picks a certified level; optional for the customer.
  • "Any requests?" box · on by default, booking page only; optional for the customer.
  • Kit sizing · off by default. Asks each diver for their wetsuit size and BC size (XXS to XXXL) and their shoe size in UK, US or EU sizing. Optional for the customer. Asked on your booking page and the details link, for diving activities only; not on the customer sign-up page (QR code), because sizes are saved on a booking. What they enter shows in the booking's Customer requests, and staff can change it.

Tips

  • Switching a detail off never deletes what you already hold on customers' profiles.
  • Switching a detail on only affects new forms. To fill gaps on existing bookings, send the details link.
  • A switched-off detail doesn't count against a customer's profile-complete bar.
  • Certification only appears on the booking page for activities that need a dive profile (set per service in the Dive Menu).
  • The medical form isn't set here: it follows each service's own setting in the Dive Menu.
  • Only people who can edit settings can change these switches.
