Centre Info — details, hours, phone book, rentals, payments, tax

Last updated Wed Jun 24 2026 00:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)

Centre Info is your centre's master record. It holds your profile and logo, contact and location, opening hours, operational limits, tax settings, social links — and three list editors the bot uses: phone book, rental extras and payment methods.

When you'd use this

  • First-time setup of your centre.
  • Updating hours, tax, your logo, or the numbers the bot routes to.

Centre Info is one page with jump-nav pills (Profile, Contact, Hours & Locale, Operations, Finance, Social Media) and a single Save changes bar.

Centre Profile

  • Centre name, Centre logo (upload — Upload logo / Replace logo, max 500 KB), Year founded, Certification agencies (tick SSI, PADI, NAUI, RAID, etc., plus free-text), and Facilities.

Contact & Location

  • Email, Website, Booking URL, the Phone Book, Address and Location description.

Phone Book

  • Press Add number and set a Label (e.g. "Tech Diving"), the Number and an optional description. Bot Rules point at these labels, so a number lives in one place. Removing one is permanent.

Hours & Locale

  • Opening hours per day (toggle Open/Closed with times; shortcuts "Apply Mon to Mon–Fri" and "Same hours every day"), Timezone and Currency.

Operations

  • Max students per instructor and Max divers per guide (these drive capacity badges in Assignments), Daily pool session, Equipment policy, Rental Extras and insurance info.

Rental Extras

  • Press Add item: Item name, Price and notes. The bot can quote these.

Finance

  • Tax Name, Tax Rate (%), Tax ID (your tax registration number — printed on tax invoices), the Tax model (Prices include tax / Tax added at checkout — this is what the POS uses), Card surcharge (%), and Payment Methods.

Card surcharge

  • Card surcharge (%) adds a percentage to the bill only when a customer pays by card, in person — across POS, course/booking payments and accommodation. Leave it blank for no surcharge.
  • The surcharge is shown to the customer at the point of payment and on the receipt. It is treated as part of the taxable sale, so any tax you charge is accounted for within it.
  • If you refund a card payment, the surcharge is refunded too.

Payment Methods

  • Press Add method: the Method and optional notes, so the bot can tell customers how they can pay.

Social Media

  • Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube links.

Tips

  • Your logo and tax settings live here, not in Branding (branding.md is the accent colour only).
  • Phone book / rental / payment deletions are permanent.
