Dive centres in Colombia

What should a dive centre in Colombia run on?

Colombia dives on two coasts: the Caribbean, from Cartagena's Rosario Islands to Santa Marta and the islands of San Andrés and Providencia, and the Pacific, from Gorgona to Malpelo. Much of the trade is Colombian, booked on WhatsApp and timed around the country's long weekends. DiveOps runs it from one login.

The short answer

DiveOps suits Colombian dive centres from Cartagena and Santa Marta to San Andrés: a 24/7 WhatsApp AI front desk answers in Spanish and sends your booking link, and the same login plans boats and courses for busy long weekends, tracks gear and keeps each diver's certification and medical on the booking.

Cartagena and the Rosario Islands

The Corales del Rosario y de San Bernardo National Natural Park, declared in 1977, protects the largest coral platform on Colombia's continental Caribbean coast, and is one of the most visited parks in the country. Cartagena centres run boats to the Rosario Islands and the wrecks off Tierra Bomba and Barú, with a mix of first-timers and certified divers on most days.

DiveOps builds each boat's trip sheet from the bookings, keeps first-timers and certified divers in their own groups with their own guide, and holds each diver's certification and medical form on the booking, filled in on their phone before they arrive.

Santa Marta, San Andrés and Providencia

Santa Marta and nearby Taganga, beside Tayrona National Natural Park, are known for low-cost training. San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina sit inside the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve, declared by UNESCO in 2000, with diving all year and stronger winds from November to January.

DiveOps tracks every student from the first pool session to sign-off, whichever agency you teach under, from SSI and PADI to CMAS, and payroll works out each instructor's course commission on their own rate.

Puentes, holiday peaks and the Pacific

Colombia moves many public holidays to a Monday, so the year is full of three-day weekends, and those, with Semana Santa and the December to January holidays, fill the boats fast. On the Pacific, Gorgona, Bahía Solano and Nuquí draw divers and whale watchers, and Malpelo's hammerheads are reached only on liveaboard trips.

DiveOps shows live spaces on your booking page, so a busy weekend is never oversold, and a centre that books divers onto a Malpelo trip can list each one as a dated trip with its own spaces and price.

A WhatsApp front desk in Spanish

Colombian divers ask about everything on WhatsApp, and foreign visitors write in English, German, French and more. DiveOps' WhatsApp AI answers on your centre's own number through the official Meta Business API, in the diver's language. It replies in under 2 minutes, handles around 92% of routine questions itself and sends your booking link. A person at the centre confirms every booking and takes over any chat that needs one, with the whole conversation in view.

Your currency and one plan

DiveOps runs each centre in one currency, set when you join. You can price in US dollars or euros today; if you price in Colombian pesos, ask us about it on your demo. Payments can be taken by payment link with PayPal where available, or recorded at the desk, and centres get roughly 8 hours a week of admin back.

DiveOps is one plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. Book a demo and see it set up against your own boats, courses and sites.

Questions, answered.

Does the WhatsApp AI answer in Spanish?

Yes. It answers in the language the diver writes in, including Spanish and English, on your centre's own WhatsApp number, and hands any chat to your team when a person is needed.

Can DiveOps cope with a long weekend rush?

Yes. The booking page shows live spaces for each trip, so places are never sold twice, and the trip sheets for each boat are built from the bookings.

Does it work in Colombian pesos?

Each centre runs in one currency. You can price in US dollars or euros today; ask us about pesos on your demo.

How much does DiveOps cost for a dive centre in Colombia?

One plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. The pricing page has the details, or book a demo for a figure against your own numbers.
