Dive centres in the Netherlands

What should a dive centre in the Netherlands run on?

Dutch diving is mostly shore diving in Zeeland and the inland lakes, close to home, all year, by divers who then fly off to warmer water. DiveOps runs the courses, the kit room, the trips and the money for a Dutch centre in one login.

The short answer

DiveOps suits Dutch dive centres from Zeeland to the inland lakes: it tracks courses, rental gear and cylinder fills against each diver, checks certifications and medicals before the dive, plans shore and boat dives on one trip sheet, and runs euro payments through your own Stripe account, with a 24/7 WhatsApp AI front desk.

The Oosterschelde and the Grevelingen

The Oosterschelde National Park is a tidal sea arm that divers call a paradise, with favourite sites at the Zeelandbrug, Stavenisse, Sint Annaland, Zoetersbout and Gorishoek, and cuttlefish, anemones, lobsters and seahorses in the rocks and oyster banks. Nearby, the Grevelingen is a large saltwater lake with sheltered shore and boat dives. Because the Oosterschelde is tidal, dives are planned around the turn of the tide.

DiveOps keeps each day's shore groups and boat trips on one trip sheet built from the bookings, with every diver's group, guide and kit, so a dive timed to the tide starts with the right people in the right place.

Courses, drysuits and the kit room

Water in Zeeland runs from cold in winter to around 20°C at the end of summer, so most courses include drysuit training and most centres rent and fill all year. DiveOps tracks each student from first session to instructor sign-off, whichever agency you teach under, from the NOB and CMAS to SSI and PADI, and logs rental gear and cylinders against each diver with a warning when something is overdue.

Divers fill in their details and medical form on their phone before they arrive, and kit, fills and retail sell through the shop till.

Trips abroad, sold from home

Many Dutch centres also take their divers abroad, to Bonaire, Curaçao, the Red Sea and beyond. DiveOps lists each trip as a dated trip on your booking page with its own spaces and price, so the club trip fills from the same page as Saturday's shore dive.

A 24/7 WhatsApp front desk

Dutch divers message in the evening to ask about conditions, courses and kit. DiveOps' WhatsApp AI answers on your centre's own number through the official Meta Business API, in Dutch, German, English or the diver's own language. It replies in under 2 minutes, handles around 92% of routine questions itself and sends your booking link. A person at the centre confirms every booking and can take over any chat.

Euros, EU card rates and one plan

Prices, payments, the shop till, staff rosters, payroll, reports and double-entry books run in euros. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, which can mean card fees up to 20% lower than a typical terminal (never guaranteed; it depends on your current processor), and centres get roughly 8 hours a week of admin back.

DiveOps is one plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. Book a demo and see it set up against your own sites, courses and kit room.
