What should a dive centre in Croatia run on?
In Croatia, most visiting divers dive with a registered diving centre, and many arrive by car from the rest of Europe with a few days to spare. DiveOps runs that centre from one login: the enquiry, the booking, the checks, the boat and the books.
The short answer
DiveOps suits Croatian dive centres on the Adriatic: it keeps each diver's checked certification, the group and the site for every dive in one record, plans boats and courses for a busy May to October season, and runs rentals, euro payments and payroll, with a 24/7 WhatsApp AI front desk.
(opens full size in a new tab)How diving is organised in Croatia
Under Croatian rules, organised diving runs through registered diving centres and associations, and a diver who wants to dive on their own needs an individual authorisation from a Harbourmaster's Office. Sites registered as cultural goods, such as protected wrecks, can be dived only with a centre that holds a permit from the Ministry of Culture and Media.
DiveOps does not issue or manage those permits. It keeps the records a centre works from in one place: each diver's certification with who checked it and when, the site for every trip, and staff certificates with a warning before they lapse.
From Istria to Dubrovnik
Croatian diving runs the length of the Adriatic: the Baron Gautsch wreck off Rovinj in Istria, the Kvarner islands of Krk, Cres and Lošinj, the Kornati National Park, the island of Vis and its wrecks, and the Taranto wreck off Dubrovnik. Most centres run a main season of roughly May to October, with the water in the mid-20s by August and much colder in winter.
DiveOps keeps one library of your sites with depth and difficulty, builds each boat's trip sheet from the bookings, and sells special wreck days as dated trips with their own spaces and price.
Visitors who drive in, with or without their kit
Many divers come from Germany, Austria, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Italy and Poland, some with their own kit and some hiring everything. DiveOps adds rentals to the booking so they are priced and returned without paper, logs who took what from the kit room, and can run regulator servicing as a paid job, with the customer emailed when it is ready.
A 24/7 WhatsApp front desk
Visitors plan from home and message in their own language, often in the evening. DiveOps' WhatsApp AI answers on your centre's own number through the official Meta Business API, replies in under 2 minutes, handles around 92% of routine questions itself and sends your booking link. A person at the centre takes over any chat that needs one.
Euros, EU card rates and one login
Croatia has used the euro since 2023, and DiveOps runs bookings, the shop till, payroll and reports in euros. Card payments go through your own Stripe account at EU rates, which can mean card fees up to 20% lower than a typical terminal (never guaranteed; it depends on your current processor), and centres get roughly 8 hours a week of admin back.

Questions, answered.
Does DiveOps handle the permit for diving cultural sites?
No. Permits for sites registered as cultural goods come from the Ministry of Culture and Media. DiveOps keeps the site of each trip, the divers on it and their checked certifications in one record, so the centre's own paperwork is easy to find.
Can DiveOps manage rental kit for visiting divers?
Yes. Rentals are added to the booking, priced and returned without paper, and the kit room logs who took each item, with a warning when something is overdue.
Does it work in euros?
Yes. Prices, payments, the shop till, payroll and reports all run in euros, with card payments through your own Stripe account.
How much does DiveOps cost for a dive centre in Croatia?
One plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. The pricing page has the details, or book a demo for a figure against your own numbers.
