Dive centres in Jordan

What should a dive centre in Jordan run on?

Jordan's diving happens on one short stretch of the Gulf of Aqaba, mostly from the shore, all year. A centre there juggles fun divers on the wrecks, students in the shallows and visitors fitting a dive between Petra and Wadi Rum. DiveOps runs that whole day from one login.

The short answer

DiveOps suits Aqaba's shore-diving centres: each day's divers are grouped by site and guide, courses are tracked to sign-off, gear and cylinders are logged against each diver, and a 24/7 WhatsApp AI front desk answers visitors in their own language and sends your booking link.

Wrecks and reefs a short drive apart

Most Aqaba dives start from the beach south of the city: the Cedar Pride freighter, the Hercules C-130 aircraft sunk in 2017, the tank and the underwater military museum, and reefs such as the Japanese Garden for first dives. One morning can mix a van of certified divers on a wreck with an Open Water group on a shallow reef.

DiveOps groups each day's divers by site, course and guide, and builds the trip sheet from the bookings, so the van, the boat and the kit list all come from the same plan.

Licensed by ASEZA, with the records in one place

Dive centres in the Aqaba region are licensed and regulated by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), which issued updated instructions for the licensing and operation of diving centres in 2023. DiveOps does not hold or file that licence for you.

It keeps the day-to-day records together instead: divers fill in their details and medical form on their phone before they arrive, each certification is kept on the diver's record, and staff details sit in the same login as the rosters and payroll.

Year-round courses in warm, calm water

The water runs from around 21°C in late winter to the high 20s in summer, and the gulf is sheltered, so Aqaba teaches all year. DiveOps tracks each student's course progress to instructor sign-off, whichever agency you teach under, from SSI and PADI to CMAS.

Visitors from everywhere, answered on WhatsApp

Aqaba hears from Jordanian divers, residents and visitors from Europe and the wider region, often while they plan a Petra and Wadi Rum trip and in Arabic, English or their own language. DiveOps' WhatsApp AI answers on your centre's own number through the official Meta Business API, replies in under 2 minutes, handles around 92% of routine questions itself and sends your booking link. A person at the centre confirms every booking and takes over any chat that needs one.

Your currency, payments and one plan

DiveOps runs each centre in one currency, set when you join. Jordanian dinars are not available yet, so a centre in Jordan can price in US dollars or euros today; ask about dinars on your demo. Payments can be taken by payment link with PayPal where it is available to you, or recorded at the desk, and the shop till, payroll, reports and double-entry books run in the same login. Centres get roughly 8 hours a week of admin back.

DiveOps is one plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. Book a demo and see it set up against your own sites, courses and staff.
