Dive centres in India

What should a dive centre in India run on?

Indian diving is centred on the Andaman Islands, with Goa, Netrani and Lakshadweep alongside, and most of its divers are domestic holidaymakers trying scuba for the first time. Enquiries arrive on WhatsApp, in volume, from all over the country. DiveOps keeps every guest, boat and receipt in one login.

The short answer

DiveOps is dive centre software that fits India's busy try-dive trade: every guest gets a booking record and a receipt, divers fill in details and medical forms on the phone, boats are planned by instructor, and a 24/7 WhatsApp AI answers the flood of enquiries in English, Hindi or the guest's own language.

The Andamans: registration, records and receipts

In the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, every scuba diving centre must register with the Directorate of Tourism before it starts. The Directorate's 2025 guidelines also ask registered centres to give proper receipts to every guest, keep records of the guests who come to them and the fees charged, and take divers only to the listed dive sites around Sri Vijaya Puram, Swaraj Dweep and Shaheed Dweep.

DiveOps keeps a booking record for every guest with what they paid and a receipt, and reports pull up any day or season. Your dive sites are set up once, so every trip records where it went. DiveOps does not register a centre or make it compliant; it keeps the records together so they are there when asked for.

Try dives by the boatload

On Swaraj Dweep and in Goa, much of the day is Discover Scuba and first dives for families and groups, alongside Open Water courses and fun dives for certified divers. Groups grow and shrink right up to departure.

DiveOps builds each boat's trip sheet from the bookings: drag groups onto boats and the capacity and kit sizes are worked out for the crew. Divers fill in their details and medical form on their phone before they arrive, so the jetty is not a queue of clipboards. Course progress is tracked to instructor sign-off, whether you teach SSI, PADI or another agency.

Seasons, Goa and Lakshadweep

The south-west monsoon shapes the year. Goa's diving around Grande Island stops for the monsoon months, and the Andamans are at their best between the monsoons. Lakshadweep is restricted: every visitor who is not an islander needs an entry permit from the Lakshadweep Administration before they travel.

DiveOps lets a centre plan the season once, with a year of dive-site pairings and a weather fallback for each day, and close dates on the booking page when the sea is shut.

A 24/7 WhatsApp front desk for India's enquiries

Indian travellers ask everything on WhatsApp, often several centres at once, and the first clear answer usually wins. DiveOps' WhatsApp AI answers on your centre's own number through the official Meta Business API, in English, Hindi or the diver's own language. It replies in under 2 minutes, handles around 92% of routine questions itself and sends your booking link. A person at the centre confirms every booking and can take over any chat. Centres get roughly 8 hours a week of admin back.

Your currency, payments and one plan

DiveOps runs each centre in one currency, set when you join. You can price in US dollars or euros today; if you price in rupees, ask about it on your demo. Payments can be taken by payment link with PayPal where it is available to you, or recorded at the desk. Gear and cylinders, staff rosters, payroll, the shop till and double-entry books are all in the same login.

DiveOps is one plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. Book a demo and see it set up against your own boats and sites.

Questions, answered.

Can DiveOps give every guest a receipt and keep a record of them?

Yes. Every booking keeps the guest's details, what they paid and a receipt, and reports pull up any day or season. DiveOps keeps the records; registration with the Andaman Directorate of Tourism is still up to the centre.

Does the WhatsApp AI reply in Hindi?

It replies in the diver's language, including Hindi and English, on your centre's own WhatsApp number. It answers and sends your booking link; a person at the centre confirms every booking.

Does DiveOps work in rupees?

Not yet. A centre can price in US dollars or euros today. If you price in rupees, ask about it on your demo before you switch.

How much does DiveOps cost for a centre in India?

One plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. The pricing page has the details, or book a demo for a figure against your own numbers.
