Dive centres in Cyprus

What should a dive centre in Cyprus run on?

Cyprus dives all year, with one of the world's best-known wrecks off Larnaca and a steady flow of visitors from the UK and the rest of Europe. DiveOps runs that year-round trade, from the first WhatsApp message to the last log entry, in one login.

The short answer

DiveOps suits Cypriot dive centres from Larnaca to Paphos: it checks each diver's certification and medical before the Zenobia, plans boats and shore dives on one trip sheet, tracks courses, gear and cylinders, and runs euro payments through your own Stripe account, with a 24/7 WhatsApp AI front desk.

The Zenobia and the wrecks of Larnaca

The Zenobia, a ferry that sank off Larnaca in 1980 with her cargo of lorries still on board, lies on her side from around 16 metres to about 42. It is a wreck for every level, from a first look at the top to deep dives for trained divers, so the centre needs to know who is qualified for what before the boat leaves.

DiveOps checks each diver's certification against the booking, keeps their medical form on the same record and places them in the right group with the right guide on one trip sheet.

Paphos, Protaras and Cape Greco

Away from Larnaca, centres in Paphos dive wrecks and reefs off the west coast, and Protaras and Ayia Napa run boat and shore dives around the sea caves of Cape Greco. Water runs from around 17°C in winter to the high 20s in late summer, so most centres teach all year.

DiveOps tracks each student from first session to instructor sign-off, whichever agency you teach under, from SSI and PADI to BSAC and CMAS, and keeps gear and cylinders against every diver.

ISO 24803 and the records behind it

The Deputy Ministry of Tourism's official Visit Cyprus site lists the diving businesses certified to ISO 24803, the international standard for recreational diving providers. A standard like that rests on records: who dived, with which qualification, with which instructor.

DiveOps keeps those records as the day runs, with divers filling in their details and medical form on their phone before arrival, and staff rosters and payroll for the team who ran each dive.

A 24/7 WhatsApp front desk in the diver's language

Visitors message from the UK, Israel, Germany, Scandinavia and beyond, usually before they fly. DiveOps' WhatsApp AI answers on your centre's own number through the official Meta Business API, replies in under 2 minutes in the diver's language, handles around 92% of routine questions itself and sends your booking link. A person at the centre confirms every booking and can take over any chat.

Euros, EU card rates and one plan

Prices, payments, the shop till, reports and double-entry books run in euros. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, which can mean card fees up to 20% lower than a typical terminal (never guaranteed; it depends on your current processor), and centres get roughly 8 hours a week of admin back.

DiveOps is one plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. Book a demo and see it set up against your own boats, sites and courses.

Questions, answered.

Can DiveOps check who is qualified for the Zenobia?

Yes. Each diver's certification and medical sit on their booking and are checked before the dive, so you can place them in the right group for the depth you plan.

Does DiveOps make a centre ISO 24803 certified?

No. Certification comes from an accredited body. DiveOps keeps the divers, their qualifications, the instructors and every trip in one place, so the records behind it are easy to find.

Does it work in euros?

Yes. Prices, payments, the shop till, payroll and reports all run in euros, with card payments through your own Stripe account.

How much does DiveOps cost for a dive centre in Cyprus?

One plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. The pricing page has the details, or book a demo for a figure against your own numbers.
