Dive centres in Seychelles

What should a dive centre in Seychelles run on?

Seychelles diving is granite boulders, reefs and marine parks a short boat ride from the beach, with the monsoons deciding which side of the island you dive. Most centres serve hotel guests on a short stay. DiveOps runs the boats, the courses and the kit from one login.

The short answer

DiveOps suits Seychelles dive centres on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue: it plans each boat from the bookings, keeps every diver's certification and medical on file, tracks courses, gear and cylinders, and runs a 24/7 WhatsApp AI front desk that answers guests in their own language and sends your booking link.

A dive centre's DiveOps booking page: the diver enters their details and picks a date from a calendar that shows which days still have spaces. (opens full size in a new tab)

Marine parks a short ride from Mahé

Ste Anne Marine National Park, off Victoria, was the first marine protected area in the Indian Ocean, established in 1973. Baie Ternay Marine Park, south-west of Beau Vallon, is reached by sea only, and the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority charges non-residents an entrance fee and recommends booking through licensed operators.

DiveOps builds each boat's trip sheet from the bookings, with every diver's certification, kit sizes and cylinders, so a marine park trip is planned and the headcount is clear before the boat leaves.

Monsoons decide the site

The south-east trades blow roughly May to September and the north-west monsoon roughly December to March, with the calmest, clearest water in the months between. Some sites only work in one monsoon: the Parks Authority notes that the dive site at Ile Cachée can only be used during the north-west monsoon. Water stays warm, around 26°C to 30°C.

DiveOps sells special trips, such as a Shark Bank dive or a Praslin day, as dated trips on your booking page with their own spaces and price.

Hotel guests and a 24/7 WhatsApp front desk

Guests come from Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Russia and the Gulf, and write in English, French, German, Italian or their own language. DiveOps' WhatsApp AI answers on your centre's own number through the official Meta Business API, replies in under 2 minutes, handles around 92% of routine questions itself and sends your booking link. A person at the centre confirms every booking and takes over any chat that needs one.

Courses, medicals and gear

Divers fill in their details and medical form on their phone before the first dive. DiveOps tracks each student's course progress to sign-off, whichever agency you teach under, from SSI and PADI to CMAS, and logs gear and cylinders against each diver.

Your currency, payments and one plan

DiveOps runs each centre in one currency, set when you join. A centre in Seychelles can price in euros or US dollars today; ask about Seychelles rupees on your demo. Payments can be taken by payment link with PayPal where it is available to you, or recorded at the desk, and the shop till, staff rosters, payroll, reports and double-entry books sit in the same login. Centres get roughly 8 hours a week of admin back.

DiveOps is one plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. Book a demo and see it set up against your own boats, sites and team.

Questions, answered.

Does DiveOps pay marine park entrance fees for us?

No. Fees go to the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority. DiveOps keeps every diver on each boat's trip sheet, so the headcount for a park trip is always clear.

Does DiveOps work for liveaboards in Seychelles?

DiveOps is built for day-boat and shore-based centres. If you also sell liveaboard places, list each departure as a dated trip on your booking page, with its own spaces and price. DiveOps does not run the liveaboard itself.

Can we price in Seychelles rupees?

Not yet. A centre in Seychelles can price in euros or US dollars today. Ask about rupees on your demo and we will tell you where it stands for your account.

How much does DiveOps cost for a dive centre in Seychelles?

One plan with every feature, priced by the number of divers you run through the year. The pricing page has the details, or book a demo for a figure against your own numbers.
